ABOUT CONNECTING HENRY

Serving Henry County residents since 1996, and achieving 501c(3) status in 2004, Connecting Henry, Inc. has a reputation for effectively rallying community resources and organizing initiatives to improve the lives of Henry County citizens. We have over 28 years of experience developing collaborative relationships with diverse non-profit groups, faith-based organizations, businesses, and the school system to advocate for the health and well-being of families and children in Henry County. We envision a community where collaborative partners work together to remove barriers to empower families to be stable and self-sufficient.

We have managed and overseen the delivery of services under state-funded and privately-funded programs, and for the past nine years, we have governed complex federally funded programs.

We are a beacon to many families in Henry County and, in many cases, a lifeline without which many citizens would feel hopeless. Through our Benevolence Network, we partner with local churches and the school system, ensuring families do not fall through the cracks. Our organization fields about 3,000 calls each month, routinely make referrals to resources and provides direct financial assistance to families in need.

Connecting Henry serves all residents in Henry County without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, gender, age, familial status, sexual orientation, marital status, or disability.

Connecting Henry, located in McDonough, GA, is grant, contribution, and in-kind funded. Our sources of funding contribute to salaries and wages, comes from federal grants, donations,  and a state grant in partnership with Georgia Family Connection Partnership.
